Rock Island Public Library

Klezmer (Yiddish dance music) comes to the Rock Island Public Library Sept. 9, as the library and the Jewish Federation of the Quad Cities host Madison, Wisconsin band "Yid Vicious." 6 p.m., Main Library Community Room. Free and open to the public.

Since well before the turn of the century, Yid Vicious ahs been enthralling, entertaining and agitating folks throughout the Midwest with Klezmer music running the gamut from the raucous to the delicate.
