Start: Jul 28 2009 - 3:30pm End: Jul 28 2009 - 5:30pm Sign up your kids to read with a dog and practice their reading skills at the Rock Island Library Children's area, 30/31 Branch, 3059 30th Street. Families can stop in anytime during the event to read in 15 to 20 minute increments with a therapy dog and handler from PAW'D (Pups Assisting with the Disabled.) Having a dog to read helps kids relax and build reading skills. Free. Call 732-7360 to sign up.
