Start: Jul 27 2009 - 3:30pm End: Jul 27 2009 - 5:30pm Sign up your kids to read with a dog and practice their reading skills at the Rock Island Library Children's area, Southwest Branch, 9010 Ridgewood Road. Families can stop in anytime during the event to read in 15 to 20 minute increments with a therapy dog and handler from PAW'D (Pups Assisting with the Disabled.) Having a dog to read helps kids relax and build reading skills. Free. Call 732-7360 to sign up.
