Rock Island Public Library

"Wood and Words", a unique combination of two and three-dimensional artist works by Amy Nielsen and Bill Wohlford is the featured show at the Rock Island Public Library, during September and October. The two artists will present a public reception for the show on Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

A collaborative, signature piece done expressly for this show combines a contemporary blend of realism, expressionism and the beauty of the written word in a work titled "A World of Words". Open to the public during library hours, the show is on the 2nd floor rotunda of the Main Library, 401 19th Street, Rock Island.
