Friends of the Library meetings: 2nd Monday of each month, program and lunch, First Baptist Church, Rock Island. Cost for lunch: $6. Reservations required. Call Kathy Galley at 786-5293  to RSVP. Membership information. Program by the Rock Island High School Jazz Band. Menu: Ham, macaroni and cheese, Watergate salad, cookies.
