Rock Island Public Library Internet computers provide patrons with access to a vast collection of knowledge available through the global resources of the Internet. As with other Library resources, it is the responsibility of the user to select or reject online information for his or her own use. Users are encouraged to use good judgment and discretion in use of the Internet. The Library does not monitor, and has no control over, information accessed through the Internet and cannot be held responsible for content. The Library does reserve the right to monitor patron use of the Internet. Use of the Internet is a privilege. Inappropriate use will result in suspension of privileges, up to and including permanent cancellation of privileges. Examples of prohibited uses include:
