Teen Summer Events The following events are what's going on at the Rock Island Public Libraries for the summer. Pick up teen forms at the Food Myths kickoff event, or at any Rock Island Library, starting June 4. Feed Your Mind– READ! Teen Favorites Food Myths Kickoff Event - Explore popular food myths, snack and get Summer Reading materials. Monday, June 4, 5:00-6:30pm, Main.
Main Library “Movie and . . .” Events:
· Candy Sushi: Thursday, June 7, 2:00pm-4:00 pm. See a movie, make delicious candy “sushi.”
· Craft: Thursday, June 28, 5:30–7:00pm. See a movie, decorate a cookie.
· Craft: Thursday, July 26, 5:30-7:00pm.See a movie, make an edible craft.
· Edible Books: Thursday, July 5, 2:00-4:00pm. See a movie, make a book you can eat!
Iron Chef Programs: Make creative snacks with a variety of themes & simple ingredients. Prizes!

· Great Pizza Taste Test: Tuesday, July 24, 5:30pm-7:00 pm, Main. Blind taste tests of area pizzas.
Just for Fun:
· Tie Dying, Friday, June 29, 3:00-4:30pm, 30/31 Branch. Bring a t-shirt or two to dye.
· Food Jeopardy Trivia Game: Wednesday,
