Exhibit title: CORRINE SMITH: RECENT WORKCorrine Smith painting

November 2 - December 29, 2010
Smith teaches Studio Art at Augustana College and is the Director & Instructor for the Kaleidoscope children's art program.
 
Her work consists of mixed media collage works created using layers of acrylic paint and handmade papers.  Her compositions are a contemporary blend of stylized organic and geometric shapes, rich in color and texture.
 
The exhibit is open for viewing during regular library hours.

The Alpha Book Club will discuss "Whiteout," by Brian Duren in December. Meetings are at the Main Library at 3 p.m. on the first Monday of the month.

The club is free and no registration is required. Just read the book and show up.
