The following items are currently available in our current  response to COVID-19:

 
  • Digital Content, such as digital books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, music, on-demand video streaming, comic books, & more. Also, Free access to NYTIMES online.Read at the library or at home with our link.

  • Materials and books in all formats, including book colllections for adults, teens, and children, large print and audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, magazines, video games, graphic novels, VOX audio/print books for children, and more. Quantity limitations apply for DVDs. 

  • Use library computers or book a WiFi table for 60 minutes (limited availability, appointment required.)

  • Learn online with tools for general research, genealogy/history, stocks, homework help, and more. (Try our Consumer Reports online subscription!)

  • Find book recommendations with NoveList Plus, and our Librarian Picks services. Or, call our Reference Desk at 309-732-7341

  • Virtual programming, and "Take Home and Make" kits for kids, adults, and teens.
 
  • Adult board games, Children's puzzles, learning kits and games
 
  • Cultural/Museum Passes to Quad City Botanical Center, Figge Art Museum, Niabi Zoo, Putnam Museum, Rock Island Fitness Center, German-American Heritage Center. Also available with library cards from an Illinois public library. Sorry, no interstate borrowing.
 
  • Mobile hotspots, limited availability, 7-day checkout only, for checkout as available. A  user contract is required. Checkout is in-library only (not via Curbside.)
 
  • Cake pans and cooking equipment
 
  •  Library of Things collection: Fishing poles, craft items, PickleBall paddles, board games, oversized yard games, and more. Please check with staff regarding current availability for borrowing.

  • Statewide discounts and passes
  • Museums, science centers, and other cultural venues, including new attractions
  • For Rock Island Public Library patrons. (Check to see if your PrairieCat library participates!)
