The Seed Library Opens March 11, 2024

The Seed Library will be open for the 2024 growing season as of March 11, 2024!

Browse the full collection at the Downtown Library, and choose up to 5 seed packets per household, per month. No library card required.

RIPL Cardholders Are STILL Fine Free

Our Fine Free policy for RIPL cardholders wasn't only for our anniversary year - it's an ongoing policy! That means that late fines for Rock Island Public Library (RIPL) cardholders are mostly a thing of the past.
