Program Description

Event Details

In celebration of Black History month, join artist/teacher Gloria Burlingame to take a look at Black American painter Amy Sherald's life and artwork. Famous for her controversial portrait of Michelle Obama, this art class will focus on Sherald's award-winning painting, "Miss Everything (Unsuppressed Deliverance"). We'll used mixed media to create a dimensional recreation of her work, including a lesson on drawing  faces. All skill levels welcome!
