Sign Up for Homebound Delivery

RIPL Homebound Resources can bring books and audiobooks to your door, with up to 5 library items per delivery.

Patrons must chose to receive Staff-Selected library items or Self-Requested library items.

As a Staff-Selected Reader, customers receive a mystery bag delivery of 5 items once a month. These items are chosen by Homebound Service staff based on the preferences of your Homebound application.

As a Self-Requested Reader, customers place their own hold requests by phone or with our online catalog for specific titles. With Self-Requested items, deliveries may occur more than once a month.

Homebound customers looking for specific titles as a Self-Requested Reader may call our Reference Department at 309-732-7341. Other helpful resources include our Best Seller Club, which automatically places you on hold for new books from a select list of authors.

Self-Requested or Staff-Selected delivery appointments are scheduled with our Homebound Delivery Coordinator. You can sign up online.
