Special Weather Closing

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Rock Island Public Library buildings will be closed Monday, March 16. Meeting room reservations, library events, and Library2Go routes are also cancelled.

Even when our buildings are closed, our digital services put reading. music, movies/TV, and research at your fingertips.

In partnership with the Rock Island High School Athletics Department, Rock Island Public Library will be holding a library card drive at Rock Island High School between Freshman & Varsity games against Galesburg to celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month! All fans who live off-campus in the Rock Island/Milan Service Area may apply for a full-access card! Come and see what the mobile library has to offer and start checking out materials right away before you head in to cheer on our team! Go Rocks!
