Painting at Southwest

Painting is completed at our Southwest Branch, but we're still putting things back! Our Children's Area at Southwest will be unavailable for browsing until Tuesday, Dec. 16. If you need something from that area, please ask staff for assistance.

Event Details

Hug-a-Book- CREATE! is coming Saturday, August 13 in our Downtown Library Community Room.    A perfect program for our families with young children.  Art projects exploring shapes. The  program is  suitable for 2-5 year olds.  Children receive a free picture or board book, bag and an art apron.   

Registration starts July 18.  

Hug-a-book is a series of special programs generously funded by the Merrill Harris Memorial Fund of the Rock Island Public Library Foundation to encourage early literacy in families.
