Painting is completed at our Southwest Branch, but we're still putting things back! Our Children's Area at Southwest will be unavailable for browsing until Tuesday, Dec. 16. If you need something from that area, please ask staff for assistance.

Hispanic Chamber and Project Now 3rd Annual Block Party - Free and open to the public

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month! This year the event is being held on Tuesday, October 15th at the Gathering QC (formerly the Esperanza Center) from 3-5 pm. Enjoy the Glenview Mariachi Band, local vendors, and family friendly activities. Circulation staff from the Rock Island Public Library will be there to promote library services and upcoming events. Card registration available.
