Rock Island Knows Tractors Part 1 - Special Guest, Mr. Neil Dahlstrom, Author of "Tractor Wars"

Neil Dahlstrom is an archivist, speaker, and writer (author of Tractor Wars, The John Deere Story, and Lincoln's Wrath). 
   He grew up and lives in the Quad Cities, once known as the farm implement capital of the world.  He works at John Deere, as the archivist and historian, and is a member of the Kitchen Cabinet, the Food and Agriculture Advisory Board at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and Visit Quad Cities.
   Neil’s research and speeches have taken him to historical societies, museums, abandoned factories-turned-coffee shops, state-of-the-art research centers across the country, and -- this afternoon -- the Rock Island Public Library's Downtown Branch community room.
   The library is privileged to welcome him, and everyone is invited to come, hear him speak.
