Painting at Southwest

Painting is completed at our Southwest Branch, but we're still putting things back! Our Children's Area at Southwest will be unavailable for browsing until Tuesday, Dec. 16. If you need something from that area, please ask staff for assistance.

Event Details

Come meet your new neighbors at the Watts-Midtown Branch of the Rock Island Public Library! On the library side, we'll have refreshments, activities, tours, and fun for all ages from 10 am to 2 pm. Kids can enjoy close-up magic, balloon animals, and face-painting from 10:30 to 1:30 pm. Drop in any time and collect a complimentary giveaway to mark the occasion, while supplies last! 

On the Rock Island YMCA side, our neighbors will also host an open house for their new place! Drop in for tours, information, and programming.
