Special Weather Closing

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Rock Island Public Library buildings will be closed Monday, March 16. Meeting room reservations, library events, and Library2Go routes are also cancelled.

Even when our buildings are closed, our digital services put reading. music, movies/TV, and research at your fingertips.

Drop in for guided viewings of the 2017 total solar eclipse.  Safety tips, free solar viewing glasses courtesy of a grant from StarNet, and activities for the viewable portion of the solar eclipse in our area.  Weather permitting.
