We're all tired of winter. Escape to Book Island with a beachy winter reading challenge! Monday, January 12 to Saturday, February 21.
- Fun Bingo Card contest. Registration and finish prizes at ALL levels.
- All ages can enter- children, teens, and adults. All reading and all formats count, including stories you hear or stories read to a child at bedtime.
- Track your reading and library activities online or with the Beanstack app, or on a paper reading log. Staff can help!
- Participating online? Log into Beanstack via this link or open the app.
- Don't have the app? It's available for Apple and Android devices via the usual app stores.
More Tips:
- Your minutes add up. If you read 30 minutes one day and 30 the next, you'll earn both a 30 minute and 60 minute badge. Beanstack will keep track automatically. If you're entering on paper, keep track as you go. It's OK to estimate time!
- In a hurry? Log without a title. Your minutes still count.
Complete bingo in a line any direction to complete. Keep going to enter a special bonus drawing for cards with all squares filled!
Prizes:
Adults, Choose registration from "treasure chest." Completion: Large (24 oz) color-changing stadium cup. Changes from frost white to peach with cold liquid.
Kids, Register to get your color changing 12 ounce cup. Changes color from white to palm-tree green with cold liquid! Complete and choose a book to keep.
