The Palace Project app for the Rock Island Public Library eRead Illinois is now live! Download it on Apple or Google playstores to start enjoying thousands of eBooks and digital audiobooks with your Rock Island Public Library card.
eRead Illinois turned to The Palace Project to store their digital collection after the sudden and abrupt demise of the parent company of the former Boundless app. If they haven't already done so, Rock Island Library patrons should delete the Boundless app and download The Palace app. Patrons can access the eRead Illinois collection through the Palace app on their preferred mobile device or tablet via download from the Apple or Google Play stores. All you need is your Rock Island Library card barcode and PIN (usually, the last four digits of your library barcode, unless you've changed your PIN.)
The Palace Project offers even more unique content to Rock Island Public Library patrons, including titles without holds, waits or checkouts, making it perfect for use in the classroom, book clubs and community reads. eRead Illinois has added even more content to the new app, to make it easier to find books you want to read or listen to.
