Special Weather Closing

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Rock Island Public Library buildings will be closed Monday, March 16. Meeting room reservations, library events, and Library2Go routes are also cancelled.

Even when our buildings are closed, our digital services put reading. music, movies/TV, and research at your fingertips.

Event Details

Pop-up Story will be available at our Downtown branch, Children's Room on Thursdays.  Our Children and Youth Services staff will be happy to read a story to your child.  This is perfect for families wanting to have a short visit to the library or to introduce their child to the library, meet their librarian and share a story without it taking a lot of time.
