March's book selection is Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. Given the Iowa High School Book Award in 2010, it is now banned from that state's public schools.

This afternoon book club meets at the Southwest Branch on the 4th Wednesday* of each month during the spring and fall seasons (club will not meet in January, over the summer, or in December).

This month's Alpha Book Club selection is The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer! This thought-provoking work on nonfiction will be sure to spark a great conversation! All are welcome to join and registration is not required.

Join us for a FREE ragtime concert with Cherry & Jerry! This concert is suitable for music lovers of all ages. Light refreshments will be provided.

This year's lecture series explores the events surrounding American Independence, from the colonial era to the writing of the Constitution.
