This year's lecture series explores the events surrounding American Independence, from the colonial era to the writing of the Constitution. This month, the lecture will examine the early impacts upon the colonies by the British Government leading to growing dissatisfaction. Additionally, it will discuss how Enlightenment philosophy impacted the early decisions of the Continental Congress and the founding members of our Nation.
All lectures in this series are presented by a member of Army Sustainment Command's Office of the Historian.
