Event Details
This year's lecture series explores the events surrounding American Independence, from the colonial era to the writing of the Constitution. This month, the topic will be the drafting and significance of the Declaration of Independence, as well as key philosophies of natural rights and self-governance and the major contributors Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin. Additionally, it will examine how this impacted the soldiers and the war.
All lectures in this series are presented by a member of Army Sustainment Command's Office of the Historian.
